The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has announced the Missouri Tigers’ football opponents and game sites for the 2026-29 seasons. The announcement was made on ESPN2 and the SEC Network.
Starting in 2026, Missouri will have three annual conference opponents: Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. These matchups were chosen based on traditional rivalries, competitive fairness, geography, and current non-conference commitments.
The SEC will implement a nine-game conference schedule beginning with the 2026 season. Under this new format, each school will play every other SEC team at least once every two years and both home and away over four years. The league will maintain a single-standings, non-divisional structure.
In 2026, Missouri is set to host Florida, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M at Memorial Stadium. The Tigers will travel to face Arkansas, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State that year. For 2027, home games include Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt; road games are scheduled against Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas A&M.
The 2028 season features home contests against Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Texas A&M. Road games that year include Florida, Kentucky, Texas and Texas A&M. In 2029 Missouri’s home schedule includes Alabama, Arkansas, LSU and South Carolina while they will play away at Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
According to the SEC’s athletics directors’ priorities for building schedules—such as maintaining traditional rivalries and ensuring competitive fairness—the list of annual opponents may be reviewed after each four-year cycle to ensure continued balance.
Additionally, all SEC teams must schedule at least one high-quality non-conference opponent from either the ACC or Big Ten or Big 12 conferences or Notre Dame each season.
"The complete 2026 SEC Football schedule to include dates of games will be announced later this year," according to the release.
