Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on social media on October 1, 2025, detailing his recent activities and expressing opinions on national political matters.
In a post from October 1, Alford described a visit to a local healthcare facility: "Had the opportunity to tour Cox Barton County Hospital in Lamar, Missouri.
I was joined by Andrea McKay, President of Monett-Barton County Hospitals, along with hospital staff and board members. It was great to see their day-to-day operations firsthand and hear directly about https://t.co/0ycY0Tqg4c".
Later that evening, Alford commented on Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s priorities: "Chuck Schumer cares more about his relevance in New York than he cares to pay our troops, protect our most vulnerable, and keep America open. https://t.co/znjb96vcHo".
He followed up with a critique of Democratic lawmakers: "Americans, remember this: Democrats would rather fight against @POTUS + @HouseGop than fight for you. https://t.co/AKzwdF6zCU".
