Rep. Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, has recently posted a series of statements on his official X account addressing national and political issues.

On October 13, 2025, Alford commented on recent developments in the Middle East. In his post he wrote, "This is not just an ordinary operation, it’s the liberation of an entire people. Millions have been freed from the hammer of Hamas’ terror because of @POTUS’ leadership. No one could’ve done this but President Trump. "

The following day, on October 14, Alford addressed ongoing government shutdown concerns. He stated, "Two weeks of Schumer’s pride keeping our government shut down. Not for veterans, not for families, not for workers — but for illegal aliens and political games. It’s time to end the nonsense and put AMERICANS first. #SchumerShutdown"

Later that same day, Alford paid tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk after his passing. He posted: "Today we remember Charlie Kirk: a patriot who dedicated his life to mobilizing young Americans for conservative principles. Thinking of his family as President Trump honors Charlie’s extraordinary impact with the posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom. Charlie’s legacy lives"

Mark Alford was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
