Immediately following that post, he shared details about the hospital’s ongoing expansion: "Centerpoint currently operates 80 beds and is in the middle of a $15 million expansion that will add 30 new beds, with the first expected to open in January. This expansion will help meet the growing demand for critical mental health services in mid-Missouri."
Alford has represented Missouri’s 4th District since 2023, succeeding Vicky Hartzler. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1988.
