Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform on November 8, 2025, to criticize Senate Democrats and promote a new episode of his online series featuring congressional appropriations discussions.
In a post dated November 8, 2025, Alford wrote: "Daily reminder that 42 Senate Democrats are causing the pain of millions of Americans. They have been given 14 chances. And they have voted to stand with Chuck Schumer 14 times instead of standing with: SNAP recipients. WIC recipients. Families traveling to visit loved ones".
Minutes later, he announced the release of a new episode in his series by posting: " E42 IS LIVE! Chairman Tom Cole, the Chairman of @HouseAppropsGOP—one of the most powerful committees in Congress that I also serve on—joins me to expose the TRUTH on the Schumer Shutdown and the fight to fund America: • What 26% of federal spending means for YOU • How". He followed this announcement with a link to additional content: "https://t.co/J2x5Wbzs3Q".
Alford has served as a U.S. Representative since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
