On Sunday, April 20, former David H. Hickman High School standout Zach Bates’ current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Washington Huskies.

The game took place at Husky Ballpark. This was their fourth matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Bob Warn Field against Indiana State Sycamores.
