On Friday, March 7, former David H. Hickman High School standout Zach Bates’ current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 12-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Michigan Wolverines.
The game took place at Holman Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wolverines this season.
