Cost of college went up for all students at Stephens College

Tuition and fees rose 2 percent for 2018-19 at Stephens College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Missouri students paid $30,950 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $606 more than the $30,344 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 130 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.8 million and 126 students took out student loans totaling more than $942,161.

Including all undergraduates (756), 568 students used grants or scholarships totaling $9.4 million, and 557 students took out $4.7 million in federal student loans.
