56.4 percent of Central Methodist University-College of Liberal Arts and Sciences students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 56.4 percent of Central Methodist University-College of Liberal Arts and Sciences students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Central Methodist University-College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has a total student body of 1,148 students, of which 53 percent are women and 47 percent are men. Of these students, 391 men and 256 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Central Methodist University-College of Liberal Arts and Sciences with the most participants are all track combined (198), football (114) and soccer (97).
