Mizzou women's basketball guard Averi Kroenke will miss most of the 2025-26 season due to a lower-body injury, according to an announcement from head coach Kellie Harper. Kroenke, who is a redshirt-junior, has averaged 2.0 points and 1.8 assists per game during her career with the team.
Kroenke is set to begin her recovery process immediately in hopes of returning for the following season.
"We feel for Averi who has been the heartbeat of this team and are going to support her in every aspect of the recovery process," Harper said. "Although we look forward to having her back on the court, I am confident she will find ways to impact our program this year."
