Missouri Tigers wrestling began its 2025-26 season with three consecutive wins at the Missouri Duals held in the Hearnes Center. The team secured shutout victories against Drury and Central Methodist, along with a decisive win over Maryville.

In their first match of the day, Missouri defeated Drury 51-0. Six wrestlers—Kade Moore, Nate Pulliam, J Conway, Max Mayfield, Aeoden Sinclair, and Jarrett Stoner—all recorded pins. Evan Bates added a technical fall win in the second period of his bout. Luqman Masud contributed a major decision victory to start the event, while Zeke Seltzer and Kolten Oborny each earned decision wins.

The Tigers followed up with a 41-3 win over Maryville. Sinclair registered a first-period pin for Missouri’s only fall in this matchup. Technical fall victories were notched by Josh Edmond, Moore, Mayfield, and Bates. Additional bonus points came from Mack Mauger, Conway, and Stoner; Seltzer added a decision win.

Against Central Methodist in their final dual of the day, Missouri posted another shutout at 46-0. Mauger, Edmond, Mylin, and Logan Cole each won by fall; Bates claimed another technical fall victory. Seltzer and Conway both ended their day with major decisions while Harris, Mayfield, and Stoner picked up wins by decision.

Head coach Brian Smith noted several milestones for his team during these matches:

- This was Missouri’s first meeting against both Drury and Maryville.

- Five Tigers—Masud (125), Harris (133), Mayfield (165), Sinclair (184), and Bates (197)—made their career debuts inside Hearnes Center; they combined for an undefeated record on the day.

- The event marked the first time since the 2010-11 season that Missouri opened its schedule without starting with the Black and Gold Scrimmage.

Missouri will remain at home to host the Tiger Style Invite on Sunday, November 9 at Hearnes Center after previously holding it at Staley High School in Kansas City for three years. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
