Coach Bell and his Star basketball players took to Rock Bridge Elementary School this morning to read Basketball Belles to the second and third graders within the packed gymnasium. Coach Bell seen with Stephens College shooting guard and Educational major, Brooke Peters, brought nothing but smiles and joy to the dozens of children looking on. The connection between Stephens College and the community runs deep as opportunities like this help the community relate to the players as people first, then athletes. "I truly enjoy anytime I can get out and serve others. It's a blassing when we give back to the community," Coach Bell stated. The goal is to inspire the next generation of children and to have role models they can see both in the classroom and on the court.
