Which political committee based in a city within Boone County spent the most during Q3?

Friends of Todd Richardson spent the most out of political committees within a city in Boone County during the third quarter of 2023.

It spent $57,378 on three vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Donations to First Christian Church of Poplar Bluff, which is based in Poplar Bluff.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Boone County during the third quarter of 2023 came from Missouri Realtors PAC, Inc. It spent $24,347 during the time period on 12 different vendors.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.

Political campaign financial data is often updated, leading to a sometimes incomplete picture of a committee or candidate's finances.
