City of Columbia to Host Mini Youth Summit on April 7

The City of Columbia is gearing up to host its first Mini Youth Summit, organized by the Youth Advisory Council. Scheduled for April 7, from noon to 2 p.m., the event will take place at the City of Columbia Activity and Recreation Center (ARC) located at 1701 West Ash Street, Columbia, MO 65203.

According to the announcement, the Youth Summit aims to educate attendees about the crucial role the Youth Advisory Council plays in the community and with Council members. It also emphasizes the impact that youth voices can have on various issues affecting the young population of Columbia. The event is designed to empower young individuals to engage in civic matters and learn about ways to contribute to their community.

In addition to informational booths and discussions on youth involvement in the community and government, the Mini Youth Summit promises a fun and engaging atmosphere with complimentary pizza, beverages, snacks, and swag available to participants.
