2022: 12 coaches at institutions in Randolph County earned on average $25,012

Randolph County’s 12 coaches earned an average salary of $25,012 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the eighth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Missouri post-secondary schools during 2022.

Randolph County is home to two post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, Moberly Area Community College stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $63,059.

Male coaches of men's teams received $31,839 on average in Randolph County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $28,591.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
