Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Columbia, Missouri at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall Building, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri concerning the matter of the proposed annexation into the City of Columbia of the following described real estate in Boone County, Missouri:
The voluntary annexation of approximately 18.62 acres of land owned by Mark Thomas Sorrels and Kevin Clark Sorrels. The property is located on the northwest corner of Brown School Road and Highway 763 (1003 E. Brown School Road).
At this public hearing any interested person, corporation, or political subdivision may present evidence regarding the proposed annexation. Furthermore, any objections to the proposed annexation should be filed in writing with the City Council of the City of Columbia not later than fourteen days after the date of said public hearing.
