Which political committee based in one of the cities within Boone County spent the most during Q1?

Missouri Realtors PAC, Inc spent the most out of political committees among cities in Boone County during the first quarter of 2024.

It spent $75,086 on nine vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Meals & Entertainment to Missouri Association of Realtors, which is based in Columbia.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in cities in Boone County during the first quarter of 2024 came from Webber for Boone County. It spent $25,759 during the time period on 12 different vendors.

In the previous quarter, Missouri Realtors PAC, Inc was also the biggest spender.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.

Political campaign financial data is often updated, leading to a sometimes incomplete picture of a committee or candidate's finances.
