Columbia seeks applicants for boards and commissions

The City of Columbia is currently accepting applications for various boards, commissions, and task forces. These positions offer residents an opportunity to engage in local government and represent their community's interests.

Applications are due by Friday, October 4 at 5 p.m. Interested individuals can find application forms and information about current vacancies on the Board and Commission Vacancies page. For further details, residents may contact the city at 573.874.7208.

Boards and commissions provide a platform for community involvement in areas such as utilities, public safety, parks and recreation, planning, building, zoning, and more.

The City of Columbia will also celebrate National Customer Service Week from October 7-11. Additionally, the Columbia Fire Department will commence Fire Prevention Week on October 6.

City Source is a monthly newsletter distributed to all utility customers in Columbia and available free of charge at City Hall. It is produced by the Creative Services division along with Marketing and Engagement and Public Communication divisions.
