The City of Columbia Water & Light, Boone Electric Cooperative, and Ameren Missouri are set to host the Mid-Mo Energy Expo on Saturday, Oct. 12. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boone Electric Community Building located at 1413 Rangeline St.
The expo aims to educate attendees on various topics including energy efficiency, solar power, safety measures, energy transmission, and related programs. The event will feature refreshments, giveaways, and door prizes that will be distributed hourly. Participants must be present to win these prizes. Additionally, there will be an activity and coloring area designated for children.
