Six members of the University of Missouri women's golf team have been recognized for their academic achievements. They were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Teams on Monday.

The honorees from Mizzou include senior Ffion Tynan, juniors Addie Dobson, Melanie Walker, and Jade Zamora, sophomore Fleur van Beek, and freshman Alexandra Berglund. The team's six selections are tied for the second most in the SEC and rank 10th nationally for the 2024-25 academic year.

To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. They must also be amateurs, remain on the team's roster through the end of the season, and participate in at least half of the school's regularly-scheduled competitive rounds during the year.

In addition to their academic success, the Tigers have shown improvement on the course. The team has improved its ranking each of the last three seasons. Ffion Tynan became the first Tiger since 2021 to earn an individual bid to the regional rounds of the NCAA Championship. The team concluded their season ranked No. 64 nationally, which marks an increase of 56 spots in their ranking.
