Boone County has released its 2024 annual report detailing the allocation of over $11.3 million to services for children, youth, and families. The funds were directed towards a wide range of programs aimed at strengthening families, improving access to mental health care, expanding early childhood services, and reducing barriers to basic needs.

A significant portion of the funding was allocated directly to contracted services, with the majority supporting school-based programs across all public school districts in Boone County.
