The Boone County Children's Services Board (BCCSB) has approved over $9.1 million in funding for local programs. This decision follows the release of the 2024 Open Request for Proposal (RFP) on May 14, 2024, with final funding decisions made in December.

The RFP's Purpose Statement and Proposal Expectations highlighted the BCCSB's dedication to supporting programs that employ effective, multifaceted strategies aimed at improving the lives of children, youth, and families. Proposals were welcomed from any statutorily eligible service area, allowing for both the continuation of existing programs and the introduction of new initiatives.
