Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district, has taken to social media to express his support for a legislative initiative known as OBBB. Alford, who succeeded Vicky Hartzler in 2023, is actively promoting this agenda through a series of tweets.

On July 2, 2025, Alford posted " reasons. Let's get this done. #OBBB ", indicating his enthusiasm and urging action on the initiative.

Later that day, at 16:44 UTC, he tweeted "Today, we face a watershed moment for the American people. We (@HouseGOP) were given a clear mandate by the American people: the America First Agenda. Right now, we have the opportunity to deliver on that agenda. Let's pass OBBB! ". This message emphasizes what he perceives as a critical juncture for fulfilling the objectives set forth by the America First Agenda.

In another tweet at 17:23 UTC on July 2, Alford declared "The OBBB train is on the track & it's got a lot of momentum...now is the time for everyone to get on board! ". This statement underscores his belief in the growing support and urgency surrounding this legislative effort.

Mark Alford was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
