Rep. Mark Alford, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 4th District since 2023, has recently expressed his support for a legislative initiative known as the "One Big, Beautiful Bill" (OBBB) through several social media posts. Alford replaced former U.S. Congress member Vicky Hartzler and is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin.

On July 3, 2025, Rep. Alford tweeted about the momentum behind this bill, highlighting leadership figures in its support: "We have the momentum. We have the leadership of @SpeakerJohnson. And we have the Persuader in Chief, @POTUS Donald J. Trump." He emphasized that passing this bill would benefit the American people.

Later that day, he encouraged progress on getting the OBBB passed with another post: "It's a beautiful #AlmostFriday to get the OBBB passed & sent over to @potus!" The tweet was accompanied by patriotic symbols such as sunshine and an American flag emoji.

In a subsequent message on July 3rd, Rep. Alford detailed some key aspects of the proposed legislation: "We have the mandate. Time to get it done...How could you oppose the OBBB?" He mentioned provisions like historic tax relief for working Americans, permanent border security measures with expanded deportations, and strengthened programs like Medicaid for vulnerable populations.

Additional context about Mark Alford reveals that he was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago.
