University of Missouri's women's basketball team is set to participate in the fourth annual Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off, scheduled for November 28-29. The announcement was made by Intrasport on Wednesday.
Missouri will compete in the Shell Division and face two out of three potential opponents: Northwestern, Abilene Christian, and Bradley. Details about the complete event schedule will be released later.
The games will take place at Suncoast Credit Union on Florida SouthWestern State College's campus and will be broadcast nationally by ION. Mark Starsiak, senior vice president at Intersport, which owns and operates the event, stated, "We are proud of the continued growth of the Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off... every game will be nationally televised by ION."
A total of eight teams will compete in Ft. Meyers. Alongside Missouri in the Shell Division are Butler, Dayton, Georgia, and Kansas in the Island Division.
