Keegan O'Toole earns third CSC academic all-America honor | Missouri Tigers Men's Wrestling
University of Missouri wrestler Keegan O'Toole has been named an Academic All-American for the third time by College Sports Communicators. This recognition was announced on Wednesday, July 9.
O'Toole is only the second wrestler from Mizzou to achieve this honor three times, following Tyler McCormick who received it from 2006 to 2008. O'Toole has been placed on the third team for two consecutive seasons after receiving second-team honors in 2023.
During his final season, O'Toole became the Big 12 Champion and NCAA All-American, finishing second in the 174-pound category. The Hartland, Wisconsin native ended his season with a record of 20-1. He faced 11 ranked opponents throughout the season and went undefeated in regular-season duals. Notably, he achieved his 100th career win against Iowa State's Caden Schmidt after recovering from a torn ACL.
O'Toole concluded his career with a record of 108-5, surpassing former coach Ben Askren for second place in program history with a .955-win percentage. His performance earned him Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Big 12 Championship along with Academic All-Big 12 and NWCA Scholar All-America honors.
