Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform on July 19, 2025, to highlight military achievements and legislative priorities.

In a post made at 14:03 UTC, Alford congratulated airmen stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base for their successful completion of a recent operation. He wrote: "ICYMI: Let's congratulate the Airmen of the 509th and 131st Bomb Wings over at Whiteman Air Force Base for successfully completing Operation Midnight Hammer."
