Rep. Mark Alford, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, announced updates and shared commentary through a series of posts on his social media accounts in late July 2025.

On July 23, Alford informed constituents about an upcoming event schedule: "Our 3rd annual Town Hall Tour schedule drops this Friday! Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter and follow our social media accounts so you can come out to join us as we visit 15 counties in 4 days. https://t.co/FlxX7MXfjn".

The following day, July 24, he posted: "It’s #AlmostFriday…@HouseGOP & @POTUS are still not tired of winning! https://t.co/gSaoYuUwib".

Later on July 24, Alford criticized policy proposals by Zohran Mamdani: "Zohran Mamdani’s pushing government-run groceries and free bus fares?! Total FAILURE. We saw firsthand how Kansas City tried it—& it cost millions, PLUS crime shot up. M0-04 and America deserve better than these socialist flops. https://t.co/aPfJZD9XQK".

Alford has represented Missouri's 4th District since replacing Vicky Hartzler in Congress in 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
