Rep. Mark Alford, who has represented Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently posted a series of updates on his official social media account covering legislative priorities, local engagement, and personal reflections.

On August 8, 2025, Alford shared his support for current policy directions by stating: "The America-First Agenda just keeps WINNING. Promises made, promises kept:"

A day later, on August 9, he promoted an episode of his ongoing series that highlights state initiatives and technology topics: "LIVE: Episode 29 of Mark Alford’s Capitol Recap! We take you behind the scenes with some of Missouri’s best: FFA student leaders & Missouri Task Force 1. ALSO: Covering all things AI! Hear from the expert himself, Congressman Jay Obernolte (CA-23)!"

On August 10, Alford offered a message focused on faith and resilience: "This verse encourages a focus on the present and trust in God's provision, rather than being consumed by anxieties about what might happen later. God is capable of handling the needs of the future, just as He provides for the present! Praying that we all practice reliance on"

Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler as representative for Missouri’s 4th district in 2023. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988.
