Rep. Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, has recently posted several updates on his social media account regarding national security and economic priorities.
On August 11, 2025, Alford shared an update about actions taken by the President to ensure stability in Washington, D.C., writing: " @POTUS IS SECURING THE SAFETY AND PEACEFUL FUNCTIONING OF OUR NATION’S CAPITAL: https://t.co/HZ4NdcQGuF".
The following day, August 12, 2025, he posted two messages. The first was a direct link with the caption: " https://t.co/vC8T9yTo79". In another post at the same time, Alford stated: "Putting American job creators FIRST! https://t.co/0UUINOGRYE".
Alford has served in Congress since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in 1988.
