Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates from his travels and constituent meetings across Missouri via social media posts.
On August 26, 2025, Alford posted about a meeting with residents in Camdenton: "The Funky Buffalo Good to be with Camdenton folks this morning! Many of you have questions about the One, Big Beautiful Bill, and we were glad to have a friendly conversation— setting the facts straight on Medicaid. Later that day, he commemorated the anniversary of the Abbey Gate attack in Kabul by stating: " Four years ago today, we lost 13 brave U.S. service members in the Abbey Gate attack in Kabul, including Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz of St. Charles, Missouri. We will never forget their courage, their sacrifice, or the families who carry their memory. We'll never forget".

Alford has served as the representative for Missouri’s 4th District since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023 and resides in Lake Winnebago. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently aged 59, he is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin.
