Missouri men's golf sits in 15th after second round at SEC Championship

The University of Missouri men's golf team completed the second round of play at the SEC Championship on Thursday. The team saw all five players finish with scores between 72 and 76.

Graduate student Mattias Varjun led the Tigers for the day, finishing with a score of 72 and three birdies. Veikka Viskari and Brock Snyder each posted rounds of 73. Junior Virgilio Paz finished with a 74, maintaining his position as Mizzou's top performer over two rounds at +2 (68-74). Trent Mierl followed at +5 (69-76).

The Tigers are currently in 15th place overall with a combined team score of +15.

The final day of stroke play is scheduled to begin Friday morning, with Missouri set to tee off at 8:40 a.m. CT.
