Both Inah Canete on court two and Andrea Artimedi on court five pushed their matches to third sets before they went unfinished.

Head Coach Bianca Turati commented on the team's performance: "We performed better today than last week against Vanderbilt. We brought a higher level on the court against a well-ranked opposing team and showed better competitiveness. Today, there was a lot of positives. We need good practice tomorrow to prepare for our match Sunday. It was a great win for Lailaa in singles. She had a very good result."

Missouri will next host No. 55 Mississippi State on Sunday, March 2 at noon Central Time at either Green Tennis Center or Columbia Country Club.
