The University of Missouri's women's tennis team is set to host two ranked opponents this weekend as part of its Southeastern Conference schedule. No. 2 Texas A&M will play in Columbia on Friday, March 14, at 1:00 p.m. CT, followed by No. 13 Texas on Sunday, March 16, at noon CT. Matches are scheduled for the Country Club of Missouri or Green Tennis Center depending on weather conditions.
Texas A&M comes into the matchup with a strong record of 14-1 overall and an undefeated 5-0 mark in conference play. The Aggies' only loss this season was against top-ranked Georgia, where they were defeated 4-1. Their most recent match took place on March 9 in Gainesville, Florida, where they secured a sweep against the Gators with a score of 4-0.
Texas holds an overall record of 8-6 and is currently 2-3 in SEC competition. The Longhorns dropped their last two matches—first to No. 61 Florida on March 7 in Gainesville (3-4), and then to No.11 Auburn (3-4) on March 9 in Auburn, Alabama. Before facing Missouri in Columbia, Texas will play against No. 16 Vanderbilt in Nashville on Friday.
Missouri enters the weekend with a record of 10-5 overall and is looking to improve upon its current conference standing of 1-4. The Tigers recently earned their first win over a ranked opponent since 2022 by defeating No. 55 Mississippi State (4-3) on March 2 but have since lost matches to No.14 Oklahoma (4-0) and Arkansas (4-0).

Looking ahead, Missouri will travel to Gainesville to face No.37 Florida on Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m., followed by a match against No.11 Auburn in Alabama on Sunday, March 23 at noon.
