The University of Missouri women's tennis team, currently ranked No. 71, is set to conclude its regular season at home this weekend. The Tigers will host No. 9 Tennessee on Friday, April 11 at 1 p.m. CT. On Sunday, April 13, they are scheduled for a doubleheader: facing No. 38 Kentucky at 10:30 a.m. CT and then playing Lindenwood at 4 p.m. CT.

Before the morning match on Sunday, the program will honor its senior players with a ceremony beginning at 9:55 a.m. CT.

Missouri holds an overall record of 12-12 and is 2-11 in Southeastern Conference play so far this season. Last weekend, the team was defeated by both No. 18 South Carolina and top-ranked Georgia, with each match ending in a 4-0 loss.

Freshman Gian Octa leads the Tigers in singles victories with sixteen wins while competing mainly in positions three through six in the lineup. Junior Andrea Artimedi has secured the most conference singles wins for Missouri with a balanced record of nine wins and nine losses overall. In doubles play, senior Inah Canete and freshman Korina Roso have achieved a team-best mark of fourteen wins against six losses as partners.

Tennessee arrives ranked ninth nationally with an overall record of fifteen wins and five losses (9-4 SEC). The Volunteers are coming off a recent defeat to Auburn but notched their highest-ranked win earlier this year by defeating then-No. 4 Stanford during the ITA Indoor National Championship.

Kentucky stands at eleven wins and eleven losses for the season (4-9 SEC), currently riding a two-match winning streak after previously losing three consecutive matches to teams ranked inside the top twenty nationally. Before traveling to Columbia, Kentucky will face Vanderbilt in Nashville on Friday.

Lindenwood enters Sunday's matchup with four wins and seven losses overall (1-3 Ohio Valley Conference). Missouri previously beat Lindenwood earlier this season by a score of 4-0 on February 22nd. Lindenwood has lost its last two contests and forfeited its most recent match on April 8th; they are scheduled to play SEMO on Thursday before meeting Southern Indiana Saturday.

Matches will be played either at Green Tennis Center or Country Club of Missouri in Columbia.

After closing out regular-season competition this weekend, Missouri will begin preparations for the SEC Championship tournament starting Wednesday, April 16th in Auburn, Alabama.
