The University of Missouri women's basketball team has announced the signing of transfer guard Saniah Tyler from Kentucky. Head coach Kellie Harper confirmed the addition on Wednesday.

Tyler, who is originally from Florissant, Missouri, played in 32 games and started 13 times as a sophomore at Kentucky. She averaged 10.2 points per game during that season. Tyler achieved a career-high 22 points in a win over Mississippi State and scored at least 20 points in two games and at least 15 points in six contests. Defensively, she recorded two or more steals in five games.

In the 2024-25 season, Tyler appeared in 23 games for Kentucky, averaging 2.3 points and 1.2 rebounds as the team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

During her freshman year, she played in nine games, including three Southeastern Conference matchups.

Before college, Tyler was recognized as a four-star prospect out of Incarnate Word Academy and ranked No. 22 among point guards nationally for the class of 2022. She was named St. Louis Post Dispatch All-Metro Player of the Year as a senior after leading her high school team to an overall record of 85-4 and two state championships. Over her high school career, she scored a total of 1,174 points with 401 assists.

With this move, Tyler becomes the first graduate from Incarnate Word Academy to sign with Missouri's women's basketball program.

"Tyler also marks the first addition for Harper at Mizzou."

Season tickets for the upcoming 2025-26 season are currently available starting at $65. Current season-ticket holders can renew their tickets through their Mizzou Tigers ticket account.
