The University of Missouri women's basketball team will play a 16-game Southeastern Conference (SEC) schedule in the 2026 season, according to an announcement from the league office.

Missouri is set to host Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers' away games will be against Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Arkansas. Each SEC team will have eight home and eight away games. Missouri's rotating opponent for the season is Arkansas, meaning they will face them both at home and on the road.

The SEC women's basketball regular season has followed a 16-game format for 17 seasons. The 2026 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament will take place at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. All 16 teams are scheduled to participate in the tournament beginning Wednesday, March 4 and concluding with the championship game on Sunday, March 8.

In March, Kellie Harper became the fifth coach in Missouri program history. "In 20 seasons as a Division I head coach, Harper has led her teams to a 393-260 record with nine NCAA Tournament berths. She has piloted her squads to 15 top-three league finishes and four conference tournament championships. Including her playing career at Tennessee, Harper has 11 seasons of SEC experience," according to the university's announcement. "In 2022-23, Harper led the Lady Volunteers to the NCAA Sweet 16 for a second consecutive season."

Grace Slaughter returns for her junior year after being named the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the previous season. She averaged 15 points per game and contributed 3.6 rebounds during that campaign.

The Tigers' roster will include seven transfer additions: Chloe Sotell from Pepperdine; Jayla Smith from Purdue; Lisa Thompson from Rutgers; Sydney Mains from Florida Atlantic; Shannon Dowell from Illinois State; Jordana Reisma from Cleveland State; and Saniah Tyler from Kentucky.

Details about specific game times and television broadcasts will be released later.

Season tickets for the upcoming year are available starting at $65 through fans’ Mizzou Tigers ticket accounts.
