Missouri Tigers track and field athletes achieve school top-10 marks at Texas A&M meet

The University of Missouri's track and field team saw two athletes enter the school's all-time top 10 list during the Texas A&M Alumni Muster, held Saturday at E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station, Texas.

Reagan Kimrey achieved the ninth-best hammer throw in school history with a mark of 58.81 meters (192-11), earning third place in the event. Alicia Burnett also secured a spot at No. 9 on the school's 400-meter list after finishing with a time of 54.85 seconds.

Other notable performances included Claudina Diaz tying her personal best in the women's high jump at 1.85 meters (6-0.75) to finish second. In the women's 1500 meters, Charlotte Cullen (4:30.88), Kobi Walker (4:31.94), and Brianna Lee (4:35.51) each set personal records.

On the men's side, Jamie Mora finished second in the 1500 meters with a time of 3:46.01, followed by Ryan Eddington in third at 3:46.97, both achieving personal bests. Chase Crawford set a new personal record in shot put with a throw of 17.72 meters (58-1.75). Tarique George took first place in discus with a throw of 56.98 meters (186-11).

Additional podium finishes included Callan Saldutto winning men's javelin with his fourth top finish this season and recording his third-best career throw at 71.57 meters (234-9). Sam Innes placed third in hammer throw at 65.57 meters (215-1). Valentina Barrios was third in javelin with a mark of 49.96 meters (163-11), while Ames Burton finished second in discus at 53.18 meters (174-6).

In other distance events, Rahel Broemmel and Anneken Viljoen took second and third respectively in the women's 1500 meters, clocking times of 4:21.50 and 4:22.65.

Sterling Scott won the triple jump with a leap of 15.98 meters (52-5.25).

Athletes from Missouri earned several additional top ten finishes across various events throughout the meet.
