The University of Missouri women's track and field team finished 20th at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which took place at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. This placement is the program's third-best finish in school history and its highest since 2018, when the Tigers placed 11th. The team's top-20 finishes have all occurred within the past eight seasons.
Head coach Brett Halter commented on the team's performance: "It was an outstanding week for the Tigers," Halter said. "I'm really proud of everyone's efforts and appreciate the support that we've had through our season. It's been a collective effort – high-level performances take a village to achieve, and this staff did an incredible job of helping us reach that goal. The credit goes to the kids in the arena for sticking to the plan and achieving a historical season."
Missouri concluded its season in the women's high jump event. Kristi Perez-Snyman finished sixth after clearing 1.87 meters (6-1.5), marking her best result at an NCAA Outdoor Championship and earning her first All-America first-team recognition. Claudina Diaz secured 11th place with a jump of 1.84 meters (6-0.5), earning second-team All-American honors.
