The Southeastern Conference has released the 2026 women's basketball schedule, outlining Missouri's 16-game league slate. The Tigers are set to play against 10 teams that participated in last season's NCAA Tournament.
Missouri will begin its conference schedule at home on January 1 against Texas, a team that reached the national championship game last year. The Tigers then head out for away games at Kentucky on January 4 and Vanderbilt on January 8. They return to Columbia for matchups with Alabama on January 12 and Arkansas on January 15.
A road game at Florida is scheduled for January 18, followed by home contests against Ole Miss on January 22 and Texas A&M on January 25. February opens with an away game at Mississippi State on February 1 and a second meeting with Arkansas in Fayetteville on February 5.
Home games against Georgia (February 8) and Auburn (February 19) are separated by a trip to Tennessee (February 12). Missouri finishes February with road games at LSU (February 22) and South Carolina (February 26). The regular season concludes with a home game versus Oklahoma on March 1.
The SEC Tournament is set for March 4-6 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. This marks the ninth consecutive year the tournament will be held at this venue.
In coaching news, Kellie Harper became the fifth coach in Missouri program history earlier this year. According to the release: "In March, Kellie Harper became the fifth coach in Mizzou program history. In 20 seasons as a Division I head coach, Harper has led her teams to a 393-260 record with nine NCAA Tournament berths. She has piloted her squads to 15 top-three league finishes and four conference tournament championships. Including her playing career at Tennessee, Harper has 11 seasons of SEC experience. In 2022-23, Harper led the Lady Volunteers to the NCAA Sweet 16 for a second consecutive season."
Grace Slaughter returns as a junior after being named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the previous season. She averaged 15 points per game and contributed nearly four rebounds per contest.
Missouri’s roster features seven transfer additions: Chloe Sotell from Pepperdine, Jayla Smith from Purdue, Lisa Thompson from Rutgers, Sydney Mains from Florida Atlantic, Shannon Dowell from Illinois State, Jordana Reisma from Cleveland State, Saniah Tyler from Kentucky, along with freshman Reka Toman.
