Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his ongoing engagement with constituents and efforts to address rural healthcare challenges through a series of posts on September 23, 2025.

In one post from that day, Alford highlighted his continued face-to-face meetings despite pauses in large public events: "We may be pausing large public events, but we’re still meeting face-to-face with our constituents. Office Hours in Raymore = great coffee, great company, and great conversations. It’s always great to hear what matters most to folks in MO-04. Appreciate State Rep. Bill Irwin," he wrote on September 23, 2025.

Later the same day, Alford posted a link without additional comment: "https://t.co/NlPEuL8AHC" (September 23, 2025).

Addressing issues facing rural communities, Alford stated: "For too long, rural Missourians have been forced to drive hours for basic services while too many hospitals closed their doors. That ends now. This program is about saving lives, strengthening communities, and standing up for rural America." (September 23, 2025).

Alford has served as the U.S. Representative for Missouri's 4th District since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988.
