Mizzou tennis will begin its 2025-26 season at the Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska, from September 26 to 28. The event, hosted at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center, will use a round robin format.

During the three-day tournament, Mizzou is scheduled to compete against teams from Nebraska, Illinois, Wichita State, Iowa State, and Kansas State. The first day of play will feature two doubles matches and one singles match.

The team returns four starters from last season: graduate student Mary Brumfield, senior Andrea Artimedi, and sophomores Korina Roso and Zoe Lazar. In addition to these returning players, Mizzou has added two transfers: graduate student Michelle Kleynerman from Boston and sophomore Julie Bedard from Auburn.

First-year players joining the roster include Alex Ackman and Jenna Kleynerman. Ackman comes from Stuart, Florida, as a five-star recruit ranked No. 59 nationally. Jenna Kleynerman joins her sister Michelle on the team; she is from Pleasantville, New York, and brings experience with multiple league team and section championships.

This season also marks a change in leadership for the Tigers. Interim head coach Silvia Chinellato takes over after starting last season as an assistant coach before being promoted to associate head coach. She is joined by assistant coaches Carson Gates and Christos Dagklis.

After the Husker Invitational, Mizzou will continue its fall schedule at the ITA Fall Regional Championships in Norman, Oklahoma, taking place October 16-20.
