Mizzou secured a 42-6 victory over the Massachusetts Minutemen during its Homecoming game at Memorial Stadium, extending its season record to 5-0. Running back Ahmad Hardy, currently leading the Southeastern Conference in rushing, scored three touchdowns and reached his fifth straight 100-yard rushing game for the Tigers. This achievement ties him with Joe Moore’s 1969 school record for consecutive 100-yard games and makes him only the third Missouri player since 1950 to score a touchdown in each of the season's first five games.

Quarterback Beau Pribula set school marks for passing accuracy, completing 26 of 29 passes for 241 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. His completion rate of .897 is second in school history behind Chase Daniel’s .917 from a game against Southeast Missouri in 2008. Pribula also completed 21 consecutive passes at one point, surpassing Daniel's previous record of 20.

Wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. recorded a career-high performance with 12 receptions for 108 yards. The Tigers scored on their opening possession for the fourth time this season with Hardy contributing significantly on the ground and Jamal Roberts finishing the drive with a touchdown run.

After an interception by UMass defender Timmy Hinspeter led to a Minutemen touchdown pass from AJ Hairston to Max Dowling—followed by a blocked extra point by Sterling Webb—the Tigers regained momentum through strong special teams play. DaMarion Fowlkes returned a kickoff near midfield, setting up another scoring drive capped by Hardy’s second touchdown.

Missouri continued its dominance with sustained drives and defensive stops. In total, Mizzou amassed 521 yards—253 passing and 268 rushing—while holding UMass to just 124 total yards and only 19 rushing yards.

The win marks Missouri’s fifteenth consecutive home victory, its twenty-third straight non-conference home win, and its ninth consecutive Homecoming win before another sellout crowd of more than 57,000 fans.

Next week, Missouri will have a bye before facing Alabama at Memorial Stadium on October 11 at 11 a.m., with television coverage scheduled on either ABC or ESPN.
