Mizzou tennis ended its participation at the SDSU Fall Classic in San Diego, California, with several strong performances from November 7 to 9. The team had three athletes and two doubles pairs reach the finals during the event.

Sophomores Korina Roso and Zoe Lazar remained undefeated in doubles matches throughout the tournament. Freshman Alex Ackman and sophomore Julie Bedard also recorded a doubles win against North Carolina Central.

Graduate student Mary Brumfield and senior Andrea Artimedi finished second in their doubles competition.

In singles play, Roso secured first place by defeating Saint Mary's Iman Khan in the final. Lazar took second place in singles. Both Artimedi and Brumfield won their respective singles divisions. Bedard added another victory for Mizzou with a win over Stanford's Morgan Shaffer.

The team now wraps up its fall season. Mizzou is scheduled to return on January 16-17 for spring play, where they will compete against Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Chicago State in DeKalb, Illinois.
