93 percent of applicants to Central Methodist University-College of Liberal Arts and Sciences were admitted for fall 2018

At Central Methodist University-College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, 96 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Fayette enrolled 1,148 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 9.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

67 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 27 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (70 percent) and Black or African American (9 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 1,280 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
