This morning, members of the Audrain County Sheriff's Office, Audrain Ambulance District and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were dispatched to a crash involving 2 commercial vehicles on US 54 just West of Scott's Corner.
The crash completely blocked the roadway, causing 54 to be closed for about 2 hours.
There were no serious injuries.
MoDot Northeast District was contacted for assistance with traffic control and barricades. Within minutes, they were on scene to set signage and barricades to reroute traffic.
The roadway is now open, and our thanks to MoDOT for their fast response with the equipment needed to make a stressful situation go seamlessly.
