Public Hearing Scheduled for Proposed Construction at Clary-Shy Community Park in Columbia, Missouri

Columbia, Missouri - A public hearing is scheduled to take place on May 6, 2024, regarding the proposed construction of a multi-use facility and a 52-car parking lot at Clary-Shy Community Park. The announcement was made by Sheela Amin, City Clerk, on behalf of the City Council.

The notice for the public hearing states, "PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A MULTI-USE FACILITY AND 52-CAR PARKING LOT AT CLARY-SHY COMMUNITY PARK." The estimated cost of the project is $5,019,932.00. According to the notice, the funding for this improvement will come from various sources, including donated funds, funds from the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture, and other lawfully appropriated funds.

Sheela Amin, City Clerk, concluded the announcement by stating, "Done by order of the City Council."

Citizens and interested parties are encouraged to attend the public hearing, which will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, located at 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri, at 7:00 p.m. on May 6, 2024. For more detailed information about the proposal, interested individuals can refer to R79-24.
