The 72nd Annual Fire in the Sky event is scheduled to take place on July 4 at Stephens Lake Park. The free celebration will commence at 6:30 p.m., featuring activities for children, live music, and food trucks. The evening will culminate with a fireworks display around 9:15 p.m., accompanied by music simulcast on KBXR.
Presenting sponsors for this year's event are Columbia Insurance Group and the Columbia Cosmopolitan Luncheon Club. Additional support comes from the Convention and Visitors Bureau, KOMU, KFRU, KBXR, Boone Health, and the Columbia Missourian.
