Mid-Mo Energy Expo scheduled for October in Columbia

The City of Columbia Water & Light, Boone Electric Cooperative, and Ameren Missouri are set to host the Mid-Mo Energy Expo on Saturday, Oct. 12. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boone Electric Community Building located at 1413 Rangeline St.

The expo aims to educate attendees on various topics including energy efficiency, solar power, safety measures, energy transmission, and ancillary programs. Refreshments and giveaways will be available throughout the event, with door prizes being awarded hourly to those present. Additionally, there will be a children's activity and coloring area.
