Mid-Mo Energy Expo scheduled for Oct. 12

The City of Columbia Water & Light, Boone Electric Cooperative, and Ameren Missouri are set to host the Mid-Mo Energy Expo on Saturday, Oct. 12. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boone Electric Community Building located at 1413 Rangeline St.

The expo aims to educate attendees on various topics including energy efficiency, solar power, safety, energy transmission, and ancillary programs. According to organizers, refreshments and giveaways will be available throughout the event. Additionally, door prizes will be distributed hourly with the stipulation that winners must be present.

For families attending the expo, there will be a dedicated children's activity and coloring area.
